Through engaging visuals, interactive storytelling, and fascinating local history, Welcome to Yardleyville explores the area's rich heritage from its founding in 1682 to the present day. Visitors will uncover the often-overlooked contributions of African Americans, Quakers, abolitionists, civic leaders, and community builders whose legacies continue to inspire.


Learn about the Historic A.M.E. Church of Yardley, local Underground Railroad connections, remarkable historical figures, and the hidden stories behind familiar landmarks.

Gather Place Museum doesn't just preserve history—it brings history to life.

Whether you're a resident, history enthusiast, educator, or first-time visitor, this unique experience offers a deeper appreciation of the diverse people and events that helped shape our community.

Gather Place Museum is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Pennsylvania State organization. Headquarters at the Historic African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church of Yardley (est.1877) located in the Historic District of Yardley Borough, Bucks County Pa. 


We are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and dedicated to preserving history, celebrating culture, and fostering community engagement in Bucks County & beyond!
